🎄 Festival of Lights Dinner & Performance – December 4
The holiday season at Gardner-Webb begins with one of our most beloved traditions — the Festival of Lights. Since 1984, this annual celebration has brought together students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to welcome the Christmas season in a spirit of joy, music, and light.
🍽 Dinner to Remember | 5:30 p.m. | Tucker Student Center
Begin the evening with a celebratory dinner featuring a touch of holiday elegance in the Tucker Student Center. Enjoy a festive atmosphere, delicious food, and the company of friends old and new as we gather to celebrate the season together.
🎶 Festival of Lights Performance | 7:30 p.m. | Dover Theatre
The centerpiece of the evening, the Festival of Lights concert, will fill Dover Theatre with the sounds of Christmas. Featuring inspiring performances by Gardner-Webb’s talented music ensembles, this beloved tradition captures the true spirit of the holidays—hope, peace, and togetherness.
✨ Luminaria Path & Christmas Tree Lighting | 9:00 p.m. | Front of Tucker
After the performance, stroll along the Luminaria Path, softly glowing with candles that lead to the University Christmas Tree. Gather with the community as we count down to the Tree Lighting at 9:05 p.m., followed by warm refreshments and fellowship in front of Tucker.
This special evening is open to everyone—alumni, families, students, and friends. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable night of music, memories, and the magic of the season.
