Hailing from the Piney Woods of East Texas, Christopher Wright is a singer-songwriter with a story as gripping as his sound. He picked up the guitar at age eleven, using music as an escape from a turbulent upbringing. Influenced by outlaw country, Southern storytelling, Seattle grunge, and even the edge of urban hip-hop, Wright forged a style that’s uniquely his own — raw, emotional, and unforgettable.

His journey hasn’t been easy. After years of addiction, run-ins with the law, and eventually acute liver failure in 2016, Wright made the decision to get sober and rebuild his life. That clarity brought him back to his true passion: music.

Now, nine years later, he stands in a new chapter of his career with the release of his debut album the other side — a powerful collection blending Americana, bluesy rock, soulful ballads, and gritty anthems. The album tells his story of transformation with honesty, vulnerability, and strength.
