Athens Area Honeybee Festival

Athens- Clarke County Extension Services is holding the second annual Athens Honey Bee Festival. If you were not aware already, we launched this festival, last year, as a collaboration between the Extension office and the Eastern Piedmont Beekeepers Association. Last year’s festival was a huge success but it was also lots of work. In order to continue to offer this event to the community, we need LOTS of help from our volunteers. We will need volunteers in many roles. You may want to take a shift at an educational/craft booth, help at the register where people will purchase merchandise, help set up, help clean up, dress up as a giant bee and talk to kids, or prep materials before the event. Please let us know if you are willing to volunteer at this event.
