Pastor Marcus will be walking us through Foundational Christian Beliefs, drawn from Scripture and reflected in the Baptist Faith & Message, including:
• The Scriptures – God’s Word as our authority
• God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
• Man – Created in His image, fallen and in need of grace
• Salvation – By grace through faith in Christ alone
• God’s Purpose of Grace – Security and perseverance in Him
• The Church – A body of believers on mission together
• Baptism and the Lord’s Supper – Christ’s commands for His people
• The Kingdom – God’s rule now and forever
• Last Things – Christ’s return and final judgment
• Evangelism and Missions – Taking the gospel to all nations
• Christian Education – Growing and teaching in the faith
• Stewardship – Using time, talents, and treasures for His glory
• Cooperation – Partnering in the body of Christ
• The Christian and the Social Order – Living out faith in the world
• Peace and War – Seeking justice while pursuing peace
• Religious Liberty – Freedom of conscience under God
• Family – God’s design for marriage and home
