ANNOUNCEMENT: KATHINA ROBE OFFERING CEREMONY – 2025

The Bodhgaya Bana Vihara is pleased to announce the Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony to be observed on 2nd November 2025 with deep reverence and heartfelt devotion.
The Kathina Ceremony is a rare and auspicious annual occasion for lay devotees to express gratitude by offering Kathina robes and requisites to monks who have successfully completed the three-month Vassa (Rains Retreat).This sacred act is believed to generate immense spiritual merit (puñña) for all who participate.
