When we’re stressed, all systems shut down, brain function slams almost shut, & the only part of the brain that can still operate is the survival brain. No answers or resources to problems in life will be found in this state.
Nor can we digest our food properly, so whether we’re stress eating, or eating while we’re stressed, it doesn’t make a difference….the food will not be digested properly. This equates to mineral and nutrient imbalances, absorption issues, gut imbalances (hello IBS) and inflammation everywhere.
These emotions (fear, worry, anger, overwhelm, grief, frustration) which are just energies (Energy = Motion = Emotion) are making a home in the body, causing dis-ease and imbalances rather than being processed. And many are literally like champagne bottles ready to EXPLODE!

The definition of chronic stress is long-term, ongoing stress that wears on the body over time (like financial struggles or unresolved emotional wounds). Chronic stress seeps the body of energy, hope, and joy.
