Award-winning musician and author Jim Gill will perform many of his signature songs for our young attendees. Then author/illustrator Blythe Russo will speak about her books and creative process for both writing and drawing. The performances and presentations will be specifically designed for kids, but everyone in the family is invited to attend. There will also be carnival games, food trucks down Washington Street with delicious foods for sale, balloon animals, and appearances by Pigeon and our Tail Waggin' Tutors! Attendees might win one of the many autographed books & CDs given away that day!

* 9:00 am: Character (Pigeon) greets opening crowds
* 9 am-2:30 pm: Carnival games, bounce house, and crafts

* 10:45 am: Blythe Russo presentation
* 11 am-2 pm: Food trucks, local authors, and balloon animals
* 11:45 am-12:15 pm: Character (Pigeon) and Tail Waggin' Tutors meet-and-greet

Our author, Blythe Russo, attends all of the schools within Wells County on Thursday and Friday to help promote the event and get the kids excited about reading.
The event is made possible by generous donations from the Virginia Gene Neuenschwander Youth Fund from the Wells County Foundation, the Friends of the Library, Wabash Endowment, Gay Saunders, and local school PTOs.
