161st Anniversary Cool Spring Commemoration Tour with J.A. Noyalas

On Saturday, July 19, Shenandoah University's McCormick Civil War Institute will commemorate the 161st anniversary of the Battle of Cool Spring with a special tour conducted by our director, Prof. Jonathan A. Noyalas. The program, "Now Out of the War," will explore the aftermath of the Battle of Cool Spring and the battle's impact on soldiers and their families. This tour will begin at 9:30 a.m., will last approximately 90 minutes and include some walking. The tour will begin on the porch of the Lodge (1400 Parker Lane, Bluemont, VA).
