Bluefield WV Rescue Squad is proud to announce its Inauguration EMS Camp, taking place August 13 - 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. This exciting and engaging camp is completely free of charge and is open to Mercer County residents who are high school students in grades 9th – 12th.
This two-day camp offers participants a unique opportunity to explore the world of EMS. Through a combination of hands-on activities and EMS simulations, campers will gain a deeper understanding of real world emergencies and what they can do to potentially save someone.
Participants will be supervised at all times by highly trained professionals from Bluefield WV Rescue Squad. Safety is our top priority.
Please note:
• Only 16 applicants will be selected to participate in this year’s camp.
• Applicants entering high school by the camp start date.
• Full participation for both days is required. If your child has a planned absence or may be unable to attend in full, please do not apply.
