Hello Musicians and Music Lovers,
Blue Mounds Music Explosion is about to take research and organization for our first event to the next stage.
I want to extend an additional invite for musicians and volunteers to contact us for the music festival we have in mind for the Blue Mounds and surrounding community.
The acts we are looking to showcase are local, so Blue Mounds performers will get preference, then, Acts from one town away, Mount Horeb, Barneveld, etc. Then two towns away and so forth. People from all levels are encouraged to throw their hat in the ring, you won’t be heard by keeping quiet.
There is room for 5 solo or duet acts, there will be room for 5 Bands. If there is not enough interest for local acts to fill the roster, we may expand outwards geographically, but the idea is to listen to the music of the people around you. We hope to have 2 stages running alternately for 8 hours of total music for the day of Sunday September 21st at a park in Blue Mounds Wisconsin. I know we can do it.
We will have a short questionnaire for prospective acts, along with additional information about the nuts and bolts of the event.
