Roving Sea Shanty Chorus

Ahoy! Come join the Roving Sea Shanty Chorus, which meets weekly in towns ringing Penobscot Bay, home to legendary singing sailors, musical schooners and rowboats… and some of the world’s best Shanties. Join us in Rockland, Belfast, Blue Hill, and Deer Isle to sing shanties weekly in fun convivial venues. Come to the West Bay Shanty Chorus or the East Bay Shanty Chorus, or come to all! Led by Bennett Konesni of the Worksong Project, Kate McCann of Princess Pine, and singing fisherman Frank Gotwals from Stonington, as well as guest leaders from near and far. The West Bay Shanty Chorus will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month in Belfast, and the 4th Tuesday of the Month in Rockland.
