🪴STEWARDS OF THE EARTH Market
Shop, Learn, and Be Inspired:
A collaborative marketplace demonstrating that sustainability starts at home.
Stewards of the Earth Market invites our community to gather around the question of what does it mean to be a steward of the earth?
We’re bringing together nonprofits, community gardens, regenerative farms, and makers who turn “waste” into art and useful goods—all to spark conversation, build connection, and inspire action toward more sustainable and regenerative communities.
Event Highlights
🌎 Keynote Speakers: “All Flourishing Is Mutual”
Together, Cheyenne Kyle (Obodo Collective), Ian Ford-Terry (Springs Preserve), and Ron Escobar & Dan Leivas (Chemehuevi Farm) will explore how collaboration over competition creates abundance—touching on food sovereignty, cultural and ecological renewal, and the deep interconnectedness of land, water, spirit, and Indigenous knowledge.
👐 Hands-on Workshops & Demonstrations
Led by groups like the Las Vegas Fiber Arts Guild and Downtown Cactus Club these workshops focus on repurposing and upcycling materials, turning waste into creative possibilities.
♻️ World Recycling Day Initiative
In honor of World Recycling Day, attendees are encouraged to bring “waste” items to be recycled or repurposed by vendors and organizations.
Examples: Figurines crafted from wine corks, English Garden displays made with discarded artificial flowers.
👚 Free Clothing Boutique
Donate lightly used clothing or “shop” for free—this boutique is especially intended to support those in need while keeping textiles out of landfills.
🌾 Mini Farmers Market
Featuring groups like 702 Gardens, Garden Farms, and Project Angel Faces, focused on food equity, local growing, and sustainable farming practices.
