JAY TRIO features Midwest heavy hitters Jay Thomason (guitar), Ryan Nolan (bass), and Ryan Helenthal (drums) ‘JAY TRIO’ is an instrumental guitar driven blend of psychedelic improvisation, electric fusion, rock, and jazz.
Jay Thomason bio:
Jay Thomason has played professionally for 25+ years. An honors graduate from GIT (Musicians Institute). Recognized by Lee Ritenour and Yamaha corporation as a category winner (blues) in the sixth string theory international guitar competition. Jay has played onstage with a wide range of artists including B.B King, Anderson. Paak (Breezy Lovejoy), Larry Carlton, and Kirk Fletcher just to name a few. Jay has finally put together the trio he’s aways wanted. Featuring Ryan Nolan and Ryan Helenthal.
Jayden Inoa is a versatile bassist with a sound that speaks to the heart of every groove. Playing both electric and upright bass since the 6th grade, his music is an effortless fusion of rhythm, emotion, and energy. Hailing from Camden, New Jersey, Jayden’s passion for music has driven him to perform across a variety of genres, from jazz and funk to rock and beyond. His versatile playing style and deep understanding of rhythm and melody have made him a sought-after collaborator in both live performances and studio recordings.
