Our good Mississippi friend Chance Stanley is traveling through these parts again and what a thrill that we get to have him back on our stage THIS SUNDAY EVENING!!!!

Chance will be here Sunday performing was of his legendary shows for you, He is bringing his friend Cody Williams who will open the night for us. My guess is we can expect some collaborating on the stage before the night is through, might even see our own Barry elkins up there again!

THE WEATHER LOOKS TO BE FANTASTIC and dog-gone-it I’m ready to get there house concerts going and back on track!

Traveling troubadour Chance Stanley first came to our stage all the way from Mississippi some years ago with his “Hillbillies With Guitars Road Show”. It was one of those delightful evenings that no one forgot. It has been an absolute please to get him back here two more times including last year when he and Barry Elkins met, became friends, and made beautiful music together through the night.


ABOUT CHANCE STANLEY:
Growing up in a small Mississippi town, many of Chance’s songs depict what makes the world turn in small corners of the country. After graduating from the University of North Alabama in 2019, he decided to hit the road. Since then, Chance tours 25+ states year-round, one beautiful dive at a time.

He has shared the stage with such acts as The Bellamy Brothers, Chris Knight, Adam Hood, Sunny Sweeney, Cody Canada, and The Kentucky Headhunters to name a handful. Chance has 2 EP’s out, as well as a full-length live album produced by Grammy-winning producer Billy Hume.

Friends, this is our FIRST House Concert this season and I sincerely hope YOU can join us for fantastic night of back-yard music and supporting independent musicians! It's going to be a very special evening of music, song, and, as always, a LOT of love and laughter!

House Concerts are ALL about our artists, their performance, and raising money & support for these wonderful independent musicians. It is an honor to host them on my stage. We have earned a great reputation because our wonderful audiences always focuses their attention on our Artists during their performances. The intimate and engaging synergy between artist and audience here has always created a very groovy vibe enjoyed by everyone. A big Bear-Hug and heartfelt “thank you” to everyone one of you for this!

This is in the Woodview Hills addition just off SR46, at the Brown/Monroe County line, across from Sewell Rd. Plenty of good parking!

Please BRING SOME CASH to show our artists a little love and also get your hands on some really groovy MERCH! (we cannot accept plastic) A $20 donation per person is suggested, though NOT required to attend. ALL ALL ALL (100%) of the proceeds will go directly to our performing artists at the end of the evening.

Please Bring Chairs, Blankets, Drinks, coolers, picnic baskets, and whatever you will need to be comfortable and content for the evening.

All are welcome (though never required) to bring some food goodness share to the community munchie table if you like. I will have coolers of free bottled Water and Miller High Life.

HOUSE CONCERTS @ HONDO's are a series of small, intimate concerts featuring, celebrating, and supporting independent local and regional musicians, singers, and songwriters.
