Cambodian Heritage Day honors the resilience of a community that rebuilt its life in Minnesota after fleeing the Khmer Rouge genocide. It brings together elders who carry stories of survival, parents who have preserved our language and customs, and children who will carry this legacy forward. We celebrate the art, music, dance, food, and traditions that connect us to Cambodia—and spotlight the many ways Cambodian Americans have enriched Minnesota’s cultural tapestry.
Above all, this day educates our neighbors about half a century of Cambodian resettlement here and reminds us that our past hardships have forged a strong, vibrant community—one whose future generations stand on solid roots, ready to grow, thrive, and inspire.
Join us for a free, community‑wide celebration of performances, music, food, and history as we mark 50 years of Cambodian Minnesotans.
