Did you know over 10,000 Jewish service members are currently on active duty in the U.S. military? Many are stationed in areas without strong Jewish community support. This Rosh Hashana, we’re taking action—with heart.
Here’s How You Can Help:
Create Comfort & Connection with Your Hands and Heart
• Decorate a challah cover and return it to the JCC by August 1. For challah cover, contact Kasi.
• Write a personal message of support
• Purchase the following for care packages and return to JCC front
desk by August 1: Playing cards, kosher gum, beef jerky, small
packages of kosher trail mix, small plastic bottles of grape juice
Packages take 4–6 weeks to reach service members, so we’re
collecting early to ensure everything arrives in time for Rosh Hashana.
In partnership with the JWB Jewish Chaplains Council
