Lost Synagouges of Europe Book Launch

Join us on November 10th at 7:30pm for the book launch of Andrea Strongwater’s Lost Synagogues of Europe, commemorating the 87th anniversary of Kristallnacht.

This stunning collection of gouache paintings recreates destroyed synagogues at their best and tells the story of each community. Strongwater will be in conversation with Jacob Labendz, scholar of modern Jewish history from Ramapo College of New Jersey, reflecting on art, loss, and remembrance.

Prints from the book will be on display in the lobby in the weeks surrounding the event and available for purchase. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
