What starts as a simple poetry project turns into something unforgettable.

One afternoon, Anthony arrives unexpectedly at Caroline’s door with a last-minute English assignment: analyze Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass. But Caroline, homebound by illness, hasn’t been to school in months. What follows is a funny, heartfelt, and deeply moving story as two very different teenagers break down walls, share secrets, and discover the mysterious reason they’ve been brought together.
