Kids & Cows Family Day is an educational event for all ages and experience levels. There will be educational seminars in the morning followed by Ag Olympics and a fitting contest over the lunch hour. The day will conclude with an open showmanship competition for various age groups followed by breed shows.
Cattle are loaned for showmanship for participants without cattle. Showmen with their own halter broke cattle are encouraged to bring them.
Registration is preferred and will be live soon on Fair Entry.
*$10 per youth participant and $10 per head of cattle with pre-registration. Day-of registration will be $15 per youth participant and $15 per head of cattle
*Pre-registration close 10-8-25
*Prizes & t-shirts for all participants.
*Fitting Contest is teams of 2-4 participants who will fit one of their own animals.
*Silent Auction throughout the day.
*Hot lunch available for purchase
*Educational seminars often count towards county fair educational units - reach out to your advisors or club for more information and any sign-off forms you may need to bring with you.
