YOU WILL RECOGNIZE OUR VOLUNTEERS BY THEIR RED LAUNDRY LOVE OR BLACK LAUNDRY IS LITURGY T-SHIRTS!!
For over 9 years, the parishioners of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Blairsville have been operating a free laundry service for those who find it financially challenging to provide clean clothing and linens for their families. Whether you find yourself in this situation all the time or just once in awhile, we welcome you. If you would like to help us or donate detergent, dryer sheets, quarters or your time, please contact us via our Facebook site, message or call Kathy at 603 674-6329. We offer this service monthly on the second Sunday of the month (unless that is a holiday) but other times can often be arranged upon request. We thank the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Blairsville Ministerium for funding our mission, the E&F Norge Laundromat that hosts our event, the citizens, churches, FB groups and businesses of Blairsville who have donated quarters through our collection jars, detergent and dryer sheets and a special thanks to the Blairsville Alliance Church whose Vacation Bible School filled 4 laundry baskets with individual, decorated bags containing laundry pods, dryer sheets and a Bible verse. And we thank our faithful customers who show us each month, what generosity, perseverance and faith is all about.
