Wadi Hanifah Flower Making with Bev Lamey

Inspired by Lucy Orta's artwork, join Bev Lamey to create handmade flowers. Orta's field trip to the valley informed her meticulous line drawings of desert plants, shrubs, and trees, unique for their survival in extreme temperatures and drought. These drawings and photographs now serve as pattern templates for textile artworks.

Feel free to bring along your own sewing equipment, this workshop is for people with prior sewing experience.
