Natural Dyeing Workshop

Join Heritage Textile Specialist, Kirsteen McGregor for a natural dying workshop. Experiment with natural dyes and botanical pigments on a range of fibres and material mediums. Discover some of the oldest dye plants known to mankind and how they were used throughout history to create nature’s very own colour palette.

The workshop will run as a drop in activity between 11am and 3pm inside Blackburn Market.

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

This is a free event supported with funding from Arts Council England, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and Blackburn & Darwen Markets. The activity is organised and managed by Culturapedia and Spot On Lancashire.
