Calling all bulk collectors and common enjoyers !!! It seems in gauging interest for a Pauper tournament, people are starting to wonder when we will be running one. Well I have an answer for you today :D. Our first of hopefully many Pauper tournaments will be on the 10th of August from 12pm.
Build your favourite pauper deck and enter for just £7. Grab yourself a pack* on entry and battle it out to earn some additional Magic goodies and prove you belong atop the mountain of commons. With additional prizes for Spiciest Deck, Best Themed Deck, Best Dressed and of course the Wooden Spoon, there's prizes to be had for everybody. So, let our staff know either via Facebook, Discord or in store that you want to play and get your name down to play for day of pauper goodness.
What is Pauper you ask ?
Pauper is a 60 card Magic: the Gathering format where your deck consists of ONLY common cards from across the history of Magic. With top contending decks costing around the same as a Commander precon, check out this super affordable format with unique combo decks, fast paced aggressive decks, big stompy decks and many more !!! If ordering the cards for this event is too much of a hassle, don't worry for this event PROXIES WILL BE ALLOWED. This means as long as you have access to a printer, you can print out your deck list and play :D. Additionally, a limited number of decks will be available to borrow on the day 😄
