Sunday @ Golden Gate

** 7:30 Start @ Kriley Pond **

This Sunday let's wrap up leaf peeping at Golden Gate Canyon. We will start from Kriley Pond and then do a large loop that ends up around 11 miles with 2.1k feet of climbing. People looking for a shorter effort will have a point where they can shortcut the loop for a total of 7 miles and 1.5k feet of climbing.

To reduce our vehicle burden on the park, we will have optional carpooling. Carpoolers will meet at the PnR on the SW corner of GGC Road and Highway 93 in Golden. Carpoolers will leave this parking lot at 7:00 sharp to make the 7:30 meetup at Kriley Pond.

This is a state park so you need the appropriate vehicle pass. Many of you will have it through your vehicle registration, but if you don't currently have it, you can either join a carpool or you can purchase a day-use pass at a nearby kiosk.
