📚 Big Feelings, Brave Moves Story Time with Dr. Whitnee Coy

I’m so excited to invite you to a special storytime where I’ll be reading my newest children’s book, Elsie’s Adventures to Harmony Hills: The Big Move! It’s a story close to my heart about navigating change, facing big feelings, and finding the courage to make a new place feel like home.
After the reading, we’ll do a fun hands-on activity together—the “My Brave Move” Mini Poster Craft. Kids will get to think about a time they were brave (or something they’re working up the courage to do) and express it through words and art—just like Elsie does in the story.
I’ll also be signing books afterward, and you can grab any of my titles at a special 25% discount during the event.
A little about me: I’m a children’s book author, poet, and educator. My work centers around social-emotional learning, meeting students where they are at, family and community connection, and literacy. I live here in the Black Hills with my wonderful family, and I love sharing stories that help kids understand their feelings and believe in their own strength.
