Kids Fishing Derby - Presented by the Bixby Optimist Club

Join us for the 46th annual kids fishing derby, presented by the Bixby Optimist Club.

Kids can compete in age groups and win prizes at the annual Kids Fishing Derby at Lake Bixhoma! It’s free to participate, and there will be free hot dogs, drinks, and t-shirts! Don’t worry if you don’t know how to fish – there will be someone there to help you learn. **Poles and bait are not included.

Age Groups:
2-5 years
6-11 years
12-15 years

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes awarded for each age group for largest fish!

**Should any adult accompanying a young competitor choose to
simultaneously fish they need to be aware that a current Oklahoma fishing license and Bixby city permit will be required.
