The second Fringe SOUTH WEST is here! - Your chance to explore space-themed indie games and kitbash till you run out of glue!

About this Event


At Fringe, our mission is to connect and empower tabletop gaming communities by fostering local connections, promoting inclusivity, and encouraging creativity. We provide a platform for artists, writers, and creators to share and inspire new ideas while working to make games and gaming spaces accessible to everyone. Through our annual fringe event alongside Salute, Europe’s largest wargaming show, we celebrate the hobby and strengthen ties between local, national, and international communities.

Fringe supported games!

As the Fringe SOUTH WEST team, we will be supporting:

• The OFFICIAL LAUNCH of our Community Choice Game winner Set The Stars Ablaze - An anti-corporate 28mm miniature game of low-gravity desperation. With flamethrowers.
• Tiny Conflict 3012 - Tiny scale epic space battles with tiny sprue/kitbashed space ships
• Space SCABZ - A space-hack of SCABZ (A repellent party game, wherein 2-8 players fight ship to ship combat, battling for survival against each other) by the creator of TONKS - @apocrypha_now
• Alien Zoology - solo and cooperative skirmish tabletop game that lets you discover, hunt, and breed alien creatures. You take on the role of an eccentric Zoologist who roams various planets with their Expedition Team looking for new exhibits.

Kitbash table!

What kind of miniature table top gaming tangential community would we be without kitbashing? We'll have a table with snips, knives, plastic + super glue, and a bunch of sprues. All of the Fringe supported games will be perfect to kitbash something for on the day if you wish!

Feel free to make your model(s) and keep them!

If you have any unwanted sprues/loose bits, we will gladly accept them as tribute on the kitbash table!

Community games!

We're huge proponents of the community developing their own awesome games. We'll be allowing folks to demo/run playtests of their finished/in-progress rulesets.
