About the event

Witches, Warlocks, and Werewolves: How Ancient and Medieval Lore Shapes Today’s Culture
We are excited to welcome Tola Rodrick to the Central Branch on Saturday, October 18th for her talk- Witches, Warlocks, and Werewolves: How Ancient and Medieval Lore Shapes Today’s Culture. Rodrick is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She specializes in the social, intellectual, and religious history of the late ancient Mediterranean and early medieval world, including the history of magic.

The program will be held in the Create 205 Lab in the East Building of the library.
