The West Midlands Police Museum is located in the heart of Birmingham which was operational from 1891 until 2016. Steelhouse Lane was built to hold up to 50 of Birminghams most hardened criminals. For those who have watched The Peaky Blinders, you will know the sorts of criminals that were once held here including The Peaky Blinders themselves. You can hear the screams and chants of the prisoners once locked up here. Doors slamming shut echoing through the chilling corridors. Explore the shadows and uncover the mysteries of the past as you navigate the eerie walk ways and cells that once held countless secrets.
Can you spend a night in a cell once belonging to one of Birmingham’s deadliest criminals?
