The annual challenge returns for the 4th year where Company of Sixty face off against Pootatuck Archers based in the USA in a virtual challenge. This event is usually only open to Co60 members, but this year we’re opening it up to all!
There will be a specially laid course of roundels and 3D targets set up in both countries (don’t worry you won’t have to shoot across the Atlantic, the Pootatuck Archers will shoot those!). We will shoot together, with online engagement throughout the day. The top 3 scores from each class are added together from each archery club to determine the winners. Sound good? It gets better, ALL of our 5 courses will be open to those who attend and who are full NFAS members, so you can make a full day of it and enjoy all that Co60 has to offer!
The good news continues because you’ll also get a FREE bacon or egg bap (one per entrant) and FREE hot drinks ALL DAY from 1100. There will be full catering on for lunch which you can purchase, so bring your pennies for our steak burgers, cold drinks and Sue’s famous cakes.
As if that wasn’t enough already, if this is your first time shooting the Pootatuck Challenge, you get a FREE commemorative patch. Our Bring & Buy sale will be up again too, where you’ll find the American Longbow Company UK, Thumb Draw stalls and various other goodies.
