Create lasting memories (and handmade gifts!) in this fun and festive Parent & Child Clay Class with Larry Gibson. Perfect for kids and their grown-ups, this class introduces the basics of working with clay through hand-building techniques like coil building, slab construction, and sculpting. Together, you'll craft unique holiday gifts and keepsakes—perfect for sharing with family and friends. No experience necessary! Small class sizes allow for personalized guidance and a relaxed, creative atmosphere where families can explore, create, and connect.

Larry Gibson is a veteran teacher with the Vestavia Hills School System, where he was awarded teacher of the year award. He has taught community clay classes for 15 years, is a two-time recipient of the Alabama Art Education Association "Art Teacher of the Year" award and has trained over 30 student interns over his teaching career. Larry’s students have earned numerous awards and have gone into a multitude of art careers, including- fashion design, graphic design, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and art education!
