Ready to get hooked on crochet? 🧶
Whether you've never picked up a hook or just need a refresher, this beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect way to start your fiber journey.
Join us and our friend, Birmingham-based fiber artist Rachel Brockwell (find her at @urlocalhookr), for a fun, hands-on introduction to the timeless art of crochet. You'll start with the very basics and learn how to create the iconic granny square, the building block for countless cozy projects.
Putting a sustainable spin on this classic craft, we'll be working with yarn rescued and sourced right here from The Craft Room's secondhand collection! You'll create a colorful collection of squares that can become coasters, join together for a scarf, or start your very first blanket.
🎟️ TICKETS: $45 per person. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance!
✨ What should I bring? Just your enthusiasm! We'll provide all the yarn and crochet hooks you'll need.
✨ Who is this for? Total beginners! No prior experience is necessary.
