Watch or join a festive procession through the streets of Erdington and become part of a folklore-inspired contemporary art project by Birmingham-based artist Tereza Bušková. This public procession is part of a larger international project called ‘Mothers without Hands’. It celebrates women, telling their stories of resilience and strength in the face of abuse and domestic violence, raising their visibility in the community.

Series of workshops, creatively led by artivist Margaret Murray will culminate with a collectively made headdress - produced in collaboration with Joe Welden Studio, Dean Karl Wellings and Phi Evans - which will be front and centre of the parade, begining outside Oikos Cafe and walk down Erdington High Street towards St Barnabas Church - Arts All Over the Place participants are able to use their creativity to support meaningful projects outside of their own sessions.”
