Killerstream, The Weekend Anthems Band perform an exciting range of cover songs, including dance fillers from Jackie Wilson, Duran Duran, Kool and the Gang and David Bowie. Bringing their repertoire bang up to date with songs from Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Kings of Leon and The Killers.
Killerstream band members have been together for many years. Founder members, John Martin (lead guitar) and Nigel Boswell (bass), met over 20 years ago. They started out writing their own material in a band called ‘Two Rivers’. The band has changed names over the years and in 2005 the charismatic James Weston (lead vocals) jumped on board. With his dynamic style and killer vocals, it led the band to being signed by Don Arden ‘Jet Records’!
Since then this ‘award winning’ band has gone from strength to strength. A combination of rock, indie, and hip-hop influences give this band a fresh exciting edge. With a repertoire larger than you can shake a drum stick at, Killerstream can play anything from Guns and Roses, Killers, Ed Sheeran, all the way through to Andy Williams.
