June meeting - The Suffragettes with Lynda Sharpe

This month we will be starting our meeting early for members to hold our AGM before the main event. So if you are a member or are wanting to join or rejoin as a member, please come along at 2:30pm. If you're coming as a visitor to enjoy the talk then please come along at around 3:00pm when we should be finishing off the formal proceedings.

The main session will start soon after 3pm. This month we welcome Lynda Sharpe from Wise Women Lectures who will be telling us (in costume) about the Suffragette movement.

This will be an entertaining and thought provoking talk - Lynda will provide suffragette sashes and placards for us to use which will make it a really inclusive experience!

We welcome women visitors to this session (£6 fee on the door - cash or card). Drinks plus cake/biscuits are included.

Please help our volunteers spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the meeting by bringing your own cup or mug and maybe a plate too. Thank you and we hope to see you on Sunday!
