ICED 2025

The International Conference on Ectodermal Dysplasia (ICED25) will be attended – we anticipate - by around 150 delegates from around the world.

The delegates will include scientists, dentists, implant surgeons, dermatologists, ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, geneticists, physiologists, psychologists, and medical researchers.

The topics covered during the conference include all aspects of the ectodermal dysplasias:

• Genetics and Taxonomy of the ectodermal dysplasias (EDs)

• Children’s Dentistry and Dental Implants

• Thermoregulation throughout the lifespan

• Dermatology – the effects of ED on the skin, the objective description of these effects, and treatments for eczema, hair, and nails.

• Psychological and social science perspectives: the impact of ED on patients and families, and supportive interventions

• Clinical services, including multidisciplinary team approaches, general dental care, the transition to adult services, and approaches to raising professional awareness of ED
