🌲 Why it matters
When you’re out exploring the woods, climbing trees, cooking on campfires, or working with tools, little bumps and scrapes are part of the adventure. But every so often, something more serious can happen – and knowing what to do in those first few minutes can make all the difference.
👨👩👧👦 Why this course is perfect for home-ed families
Many of you already spend time in Forest School, on bushcraft days, or exploring nature together. This training will:
• Boost your confidence to handle incidents outdoors
• Give older children skills to respond calmly if someone is hurt or unresponsive
• Make adventures feel safer, so families enjoy freedom with peace of mind
• Provide a unique shared learning experience – parents + children side by side
🩹 What you’ll learn (delivered by Peritia Training)
• What to do if someone is collapsed and unresponsive
• CPR techniques + using an AED (defibrillator)
• How to help someone who is choking
• Treating wounds and bleeding effectively
👉 These are the core life-saving skills everyone should know. By the end, you and your children will have practiced them enough to feel ready to act.
🌿 A learning experience you’ll remember
Unlike a standard classroom course, this day is:
• Outdoors in a relaxed, supportive setting
• Hands-on and practical (“learn by doing”)
• Tailored to your outdoor adventures
• With other like-minded home-ed families
✨ Spaces are limited to keep it small and focused.
