Join us on our Ghost Hunt at Steelhouse Lane Lock-Up - a foreboding Victorian prison that was in use for over 100 years. Criminals from members of the Peaky Blinders to Fred West were held here whilst they awaited to be sentenced in the courts across the road.
The building was first opened in 1891 and originally had over 70 cells across 3 floors. Those who were held at the lock-up were either people arrested in the City Centre or those who'd been charged with crimes committed across Birmingham.
Given the nature of the building, it is no surprise that this is a popular haunt with ghost hunters as there is a great deal of history to accompany activity experienced.
Activity ranges from footsteps on the metal walkways, to voices heard in cells and figures seen from across the gantries.
The event will be run by Jo, a gifted medium and opportunities for lone vigils will be there for the bravest!
So, join us and gain a credible experience of what Steelhouse Lane Lock-Up has to offer!
