For generations, the name Clyde May has echoed through Alabama’s hills and hollows. Known as the creator of Alabama Style Whiskey, Clyde perfected the art of finishing his bourbon with oven-dried apples, giving it unmatched smoothness and character.

Though Clyde is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through Conecuh Ridge Distillery in Troy, AL — now Alabama’s official state spirit. This special dinner celebrates that legacy, with stories and flavors guided by his own grandson.
