Absolute beginners, or crafting enthusiasts welcome to join our friendly team of volunteer crafters for our next 'craft campaign' which is all about making bug art out of a range of materials to create outdoor displays along bus routes for a bus bug bingo family activity in October half term.
If you love a project without pressure and would enjoy meeting new people approaching or already in retirement, why not come and meet us at our sessions in Druids Heath. You can also come along to the sessions in Brandwood and Billesley.
There will be opportunities to have a go at woodworking, painting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, mosaicking, macrame-ing, felting and work with some artists, or just come for the company!
It's free to take part as you'll be giving away your 'makes' for outdoor art galleries which brighten up our local neighbourhoods and create an activity trail along three bus routes for families to enjoy from October half term.
Come to all sessions or a few and join anytime during the project! If you find it challenging to get to a group in person, you can join in from home and still feel the benefits of crafting for wellbeing and being part of an extended new social group.

This project is funded by Selly Oak Neighbourhood Network Scheme which funds local groups to provide activities and services aimed at the over 50s to help people stay connected, happy and healthy in their own homes.
