Art Birmingham - 44th Annual

The Guild of Artists & Artisans (The Guild) and the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC) are proud to announce the annual return of Art Birmingham. Now in its 44th year, the event will once again be held on Mother’s Day Weekend, May 10th & 11th, in Downtown Birmingham’s lovely Shain Park. This fine art fair will feature jury-selected artists, kids art activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and adult beverage offerings. The free-admission event is within walking distance to convenient parking as well as close to the many unique stores and fabulous restaurants of downtown Birmingham.

The highly regarded fine art fair will include approximately 150 artists, featuring jewelry, ceramics, painting, glass, photography, fiber, and more. The event benefits the “Art for All” vision of the BBAC. In addition to the wide selection of high-quality artwork for sale, the fair includes a children’s art activity tent, which includes hands-on art activities and materials provided by the BBAC. The event also includes various food vendors such as Cousins Maine Lobster, WanderBowls, Frick’n Good Cookies, M C Doggonit, and Luv’s Lemonade. Fairgoers that are 21 and older will have an opportunity to sample and purchase cocktails from Dillon’s Small Batch, making it a wonderful event to enjoy with that special Mother figure in your life this Mother’s Day!
