Come join us at BOM (Birmingham Open Media) for an exciting evening connecting the industry and talent to build futures for Global Majority creatives in the West Midlands.
This evening marks the close of the Reel Impact project and the start of ARC House’s next chapter. Alongside sharing key insights from our design labs and research, we’ll be unveiling our first programme and announcing new partners who will help drive the work forward.

Info: ARC House Co-Founders Martin Simms and Charlene Carter James welcome you and introduce you to the event and reflect on ARC House's journey so far.
Info: Special guest and keynote speaker shares insights on navigating the film and TV industry as a Global Majority creative, exploring leadership, storytelling, and the business case for diversity and equity of opportunity.
Info: Dr Jay Rowe and Prof Helen Wood, present key findings from Reel Impact Project and supporting evidence-based industry insights, spotlighting barriers, opportunities, and the call to action for industry engagement and intervention. Attendees will be invited to explore the full report online.
Info: Jamaal Burkmar (TBC) hosts a dynamic conversation with industry leaders and regional talent. Together they’ll discuss the talent pipeline, fluid career pathways across theatre, TV, film, and music, and the need for infrastructure that nurtures entrepreneurship and creativity. Themes include:

Regional representation beyond London and Manchester
