Adam Shelton [All Night Long]

For the past two decades the contribution by Adam to the electronic music scene & community has been hugely important.
Running his own record label for ten years - One Records, A resident & Co-promoter of Below, a party that brought people together from all around the UK at a time when the city was in need of a new injection of underground dance music, Touring internationally as a Dj and also running record label events worldwide with fellow label partner Subb-an added value to the scene in Birmingham and helped to support local up and coming artists and promoters, inspiring many to start creating music and events themselves.

Recently playing under his alias A-Future which focuses on electro and Detroit inspired techno a new label - EON records was formed in 2019. Around that time Adam worked at Cafe Artum alongside local tastemaker Jayson Wynters helping to bring vinyl of all genres from around Europe to Birmingham, the pair have also collaborated on releases on Adam’s EON label and played at label events and festivals together. From that experience at Artum then came the opportunity to curate Trevinos record store at Craig Richard’s Houghton festival which showcases some of the best independent record sellers.

A record collector since the mid 90’s Adam’s range of electronic music is wide and varied including a particular love for dance music from Detroit, Chicago and the early UK rave sound which shaped his ears and mind from a very early age.
