The Magic Box - A Live Music Adventure for Kids

Join us on a delightful journey where music and imagination come together! The Magic Box is an upbeat live concert experience specially designed for young audiences, bursting with storytelling, classical tunes, interactive games... and lots of energy! It's the perfect musical adventure for kids.

Narrated by leading animateur Claire Henry and showcasing the Festival Band, the concert begins as the performers are excited to try out their new invention - but we need your help to make the magical music box work! The box can only be opened by a special key... can you help the musicians find the right piece to unlock the box?

This interactive concert introduces children to the wonder of live music, a variety of instruments and the emotional power of sound. Join the Festival Band as they play live and up-close classical favourites that evoke different moods and styles: Boogie Woogie, The Wellerman, Danse Macabre and much more. Families can discover how instruments work, join in a giant game of musical statues and, as ever, participation is encouraged. Expect high energy and fun!
