"MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!" Darth Vader and a host of Star Wars characters will be invading New Ferry on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2025 at the New Ferry Summer Festival. In addition, the DINOSAURS who stomped through the park in 2022 will be back!!!
The event will take place in New Ferry Park from 10am until 4pm both days, with the monthly Wirral Farmers Market running in the Village Hall on Saturday morning from 9am until 12pm midday.
Other attractions in the park will include a fun fair, and stalls selling local crafts and produce, and you can sit in the cockpit of a Jet Provost aircraft. The New Ferry Dog show judged by Radio Merseyside presenters Claire "Minty" Minter and Roger Phillips will be at 1pm on Sunday (bring your pooch!). Music will be provided by DJ Scorpydat, and there will be dance demonstrations by Ballroom Blitz at 11.30am on both days (and you can join in too!).
Come along and have a picnic in the park (assuming the weather is kind to us!).
We advise that visitors come on foot or by public transport as there is NO PARKING AVAILABLE on the park itself. If coming by car, please park either in the Grove Street car park or Woodhead Street Car Park (behind the former Co-op), the latter of which is a 3 minute walk from the park.
