IYT Master of Yachts Unlimited Course (YM Ocean)

Location: Wirral, United Kingdom.

A 5 day course including the exam - The IYT Master of Yachts Unlimited is an MCA Approved 200gt Certificate of Competence for use on Large Yachts, Code Vessels and Sail Training Vessels.

It is accepted by the MCA for progression from MCA OOW 3000gt (Yachts) to Chief Mates 3000gt (Yachts).

It is also accepted by the MCA to upgrade from a 150nm Near Coastal Certificate of Competence such as the MCA Master 200gt Code Vessel CoC to an Unlimited Sea Area.

The course includes the Practical Sights, Passage Planning and Exam. (The course fee excludes the final IYT License Fee of 425USD which is payable after you have passed and directly to IYT).

Pre-requisites:

-IYT Master of Yachts Limited or MCA OOW 3000gt or MCA NOE or MCA Master 200gt Near Coastal
-ENG 1 Medical or equivalent
-1 passage of more than 500nm more than 20nm offshore or 2 passages of 250nm more than 20nm offshore.
