Join Kim for a silent walking meditation at Union Township Meadows East Loop Trail in Birdsboro, located behind Fork & Ale restaurant. The gravel trail is an easy, level, 1.7 mile loop through the woods.
What is a silent walking meditation?
It is a mindfulness practice where you walk slowly and deliberately in silence, focusing your full attention on the experience of walking, breathing, and experiencing nature through your senses. It’s a way to cultivate awareness of the present moment, calm the mind, reduce stress, and connect more deeply with your body and surroundings.
Following the walk, there will be a period of sharing, journaling, and reflection.
What to Bring:
an open heart
appropriate walking footwear
water
bug spray or incense stick
towel or blanket to sit on in the grassy area after the walk
journal and pen/pencil
I look forward to connecting with you as we connect to ourselves through nature. ~Kim
