Description:
In this in-person two-part course, you will learn the basics of crochet. In Part 1 you will receive a mini starter kit and learn the chain stitch, the slip stitch, the single crochet stitch, how to read a yarn label, and how to measure gauge. In Part 2 you’ll learn how to read a pattern, the half-double crochet stitch, the double crochet stitch, functional sewing skills, and how to prevent hand fatigue. At the end of this course you will be sent home with a beanie pattern to test your new skills.
