SUNY Broome Social for Students & Families

It's not just the kids who are going back to school! We're welcoming adult learners with our SUNY Broome Social for Students & Families on Wednesday, Aug. 6. Enjoy FREE food, ice cream, and activities, and learn about FREE community college!

Join us from 3 - 6 p.m. on the Quad to celebrate New York State's Free Community College initiative (or SUNY Reconnect) and discover how prospective students can take advantage of this exciting opportunity.

This family-friendly evening is on us! We'll have meals from The Kitchen Counter, ice cream from Here's the Twist, and kid-friendly activities including inflatables and face painting. Staff will be on hand to talk with prospective students and get them set up for success ahead of the Fall 2025 semester, beginning Aug. 25.

While our SUNY Broome Social event is especially geared toward adult learners (age 25 - 55) hoping to take advantage of SUNY Reconnect, we welcome all prospective students and their families.
