New York State Black Legislative Task Force Listening Tour

I’m excited to invite you to the New York State Black Legislative Task Force Listening Tour on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Broome County Public Library, Decker Room (185 Court Street, Binghamton). The Task Force is made up of 35 Black State Senators and Assembly Members, is traveling across New York to hear directly from communities like ours. This year, the Task Force secured $30 million in funding to support programs that uplift underserved communities. This listening session is an opportunity to learn more about these investments and share your thoughts on how resources can best support residents here in the Southern Tier. I hope you’ll join us for this important conversation about building a more equitable and inclusive New York for all.
